Northside Farm is a luxury exclusive use wedding and events venue, set within the picturesque Northumberland countryside.
The farm is owned and run by husband and wife team Ralph & Olivia Lockey who are experienced and passionate about creating tranquil, unique and memorable weddings. Situated in the middle of the farm is our beautiful rustic wedding barn and luxury Glamping pods.
The Lockey family have lovingly restored the barn to ensure the original rustic charm and features are preserved. They have worked tirelessly to keep the original architecture which is both striking and unique. This includes the restored flag stone floor and exposed beams that you would expect from a barn which is over 150 years old.
You can be rest assured that when you book your barn wedding at Northside Farm, a dedicated team will work alongside you to help create your dream wedding. Whether you’re planning a festival wedding making use of all the outdoor space or an intimate family occasion within the wedding barn. Our team are on hand to help you through your wedding planning to make sure your wedding runs smoothly and is everything you dreamed of.

Choosing your wedding venue is possibly one of the biggest decisions of your wedding planning, it’s where you set the scene to celebrating the next chapter of your lives together.
Ceremonies
The Barn is fully licensed with the Northumberland Registry service so that you can hold your legally get married at Northside Farm anywhere in the barn. Our couples are able to choose from a choice of ceremony areas from making your wedding vows whilst the sunlight radiates throughout the room bathing you and your guests, or an outdoor ceremony where the views can serve as your decor making an outdoor ceremony so effortlessly romantic.
Some of our couple decide to get married elsewhere then make their way to Northside Farm to continue their wedding celebrations.
Food & Drink
The food at your wedding, like the whole day, should be perfect and reflective of you as a couple. We are very proud of being able to offer you the option to work with our catering team to create a totally bespoke menu for you wedding.
Whether you are looking for an afternoon tea, a sharing picnic or locally sourced Northumbrian meat carving board we can offer it all.
Accommodation
Stay in one of our two accommodation experiences. The first is our glamping pods that let you connect with nature while our 4 Fairytale Cottages have been custom built and decorated to the highest standards with underfloor heating throughout.

The most amazing and perfect day! We loved Northside Farm from the moment we saw it! The whole feel of the place was totally us and the fact you get the whole place to yourself for the 3 days was brilliant and meant we could make it a celebration weekend instead of what felt like a very short time option at other venues! Having on-site different accommodation options was good for our guests to have a choice! The food options were good and scope for making it personal. The girls and team couldn’t be more helpful and fantastic from the viewings, booking, organising and then the day! Everything went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything! The barn itself is just stunning and such a special place for the ceremony as well as the wedding breakfast and evening reception. There were lots of nice spaces and outdoor areas for us and our guests to spend time together. The dressing room was a nice space to get ready in the morning. We have such special memories of our wedding day and wish we could do it all again at Northside Farm!

The best wedding weekend ever! Northside Farm is the best wedding venue in the North East. We had a weekend celebration and could have our family and friends stay on the farm with us. This gave us the opportunity to soak up the whole weekend and savour every moment. The scenery is stunning and the barn has a uniquely charm. The staff went out of their way and more! There was nothing too big or too small and they gave us the freedom to have the wedding of our dreams. I wish I could do it all again

Northside farm is the perfect wedding location. you can tailor your wedding to exactly how you want it. the staff were amazing, really helpful and made everything happen. having the venue for the whole weekend meant we could spend quality time with our friends and family the following day. we had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, staff, food....just everything. i would recommend northside to everyone. 10/10 all round!

Amazing wedding! We had such an amazing wedding weekend at Northside farm in July. The venue allowed us to personalise our wedding doing all our own decor and having a whole weekend to spend onsite with all of our friends and family. They catered for our needs and nothing was too much trouble on the day. Everyone commented how beautiful this venue was. Thank you so much for providing the backdrop of our most perfect wedding!

Truly spectacular & unforgettable We couldn’t thank Northside Farm any more for everything they did for our special day. 24.09.2022 was our best and most unforgettable day. The whole planning and organising process was made so easy and we were given absolute creative reign of our wedding. Nothing was too difficult and they kept it stress free. They deserve every award available for a wedding venue and more!!!!
