Frequently Asked Questions

Because we understand that planning a wedding can be stressful, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions. Of course, if you have any other queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing info@northsidefarm.co.uk

The cost of all 10 of our glamping pods is included in your wedding package. If you prefer, you can offset some of this expense by charging guests for
their accommodation, which can be deducted as a venue hire credit, up to a value of £2,000. Should you choose to have us manage this process,
we will need the name and email address for each pod to send out invoices via PayPal. All payments must be collected before your final invoice due
date. We recommend providing guest details to us two to three months in advance to allow ample time for guests to make their payments.

We allow any decorations to be used in the barn, including candles in an enclosed holder/lantern. We don't mind which suppliers you’d prefer to bring in, but we will need the names and contact details for them for our reference at your three-month meeting. We can set up or help you set up for the big day between 12pm- 5pm the day before your wedding (unless otherwise stated). This is an ideal time for your decorations, floristry and wedding cake to be set up, however, if this can only be done on Saturday or Wednesday morning, please let us know what time they will be arriving at the barn so we can ensure a member of staff is available.

Yes, you are allowed them! They must, however, be provided by a registered company for health and safety purposes. We can highly recommend local company Reaction Fireworks (reacctionfireworks.co.uk)

DJ's and bands are always fun and are more than welcome. We can even recommend some great ones for you. The only requirement we have from them is that they can provide us with their public liability insurance and PAT test certificates for health and safety purposes.

Our alcohol and music license ends at midnight and then we lock the barn by 1am. You are more than welcome to carry the party on by the wigwams.

Yes, we have a PA system, and if you provide an iPod/laptop/cd with a playlist we can play that for you. We also have wireless microphones that your toastmaster can use during the speeches.

Yes, we have plenty of parking spaces on site. Guests may also leave cars overnight but do so at their own risk.

You can get married at any time you would like!

We can accommodate up to 150 seated for your day reception and 250 for evening reception.

We have both! We can seat 10 guests per round table. If you would prefer to have long tables then we can seat a maximum of 80 guests.

Of course you can, it's a wedding after all!

The barn has underfloor heating throughout, as well as an Aga to keep you toasty.

Many photographers say they are spoiled for choice, from rolling fields to woodland, wigwams to the garden, we have it all to make truly memorable photos of your special day.

Yes, we have a toastmaster available for you if required, alternatively you may like a member of your wedding party to do it! We can help the with what to say and keep them on track with timings so they don't need to worry about anything.

On your wedding day all food and alcohol are supplied by us. However, the day before and the day after your wedding you are very welcome to bring your own food and alcohol at no charge.

We have a fully stocked bar that will be open an hour before your ceremony until midnight. We have a wide selection of drinks and we will try to get any specific drinks you would like in. If you would like a copy of our latest bar menu just ask!
